This post is sorely lacking in scans due to the fact that I #^&%$# the bed at Pack Wars today........ but not nearly as bad as my half-step brother- in - law Darren (goalieguy01)
Darren's got the week off, so he zipped down to my place to do a rather epic trade for Young Stars autos from a few years of BTP. Help him out if you have some traders!!! Scored a few PC pieces, a pile of Essentials, and the following traders, a couple of which I may eBay for kicks.
Then we took off to visit Len at KRAZY KRACKER in Brantford. As usual, he was game for some pack poker. Or, as was evident today, a game of "let Darren open all the awesome cards and then give them to us" poker.
We did 3 boxes, 18 rounds of poker. I won six rounds, and my spoils are scanned below.
Poor Darren. First, he finds a GOLD Masked Men insert, but loses it to me. Then, he finds a beautiful Tim Thomas NUMBER BLACK, and loses it to Len. Then, on the third box, we choose High Base Card. 200 cards in the set, and I pull 130. Len yells 146, which is crap, really. Darren first flips to the hit, finds one of his all-time favorite players on a card he never knew existed: a Hasek Sticj and Auto Silver /3........ and can only muster a measley 131, sadly handing the card over to Len......
Makes ya sick, the gambling, don't it. Ugly.
