Wasn't sure where to post this but this seemed like an OK place where many would see it. This post/poll is to track some trends on how people browse the forums. As well as to help collectors improve their posts in order to reach more people and complete more deals.

When posting a buy/sell or trade post I feel people that ONLY post scans are losing out. Listing out the names of the players under/above the scans helps us users that use the search function to find players or sets that we collect.

So let's see if I'm alone here or others actually do use it. Hopefully this will be a heads up to people to start posting more than just scans!

Interesting poll. The search button is basically the only way I look for stuff on the forums. I'm hoping you're right and that this poll may get more posters to list instead of just scan of what they have.
The thing is...you don't have to list all the details of what you're posting, but a name of the player and a name of the set would be nice.
Cheers!

I can't search for the player I collect because "Roy" is too short for it to use.

If I use Patrick Roy I get all of the Patrick Kane etc...

I currently never use it and just hope the title has enough to grab my attention or a fellow member points me in the right direction.

I use the search daily. It really helps me weed out what threads to go through but I still end up going through most of them as some people do not put the player names in the thread along with the image.

One thing I wish for the search to include the image file names as well. Another forum's search does this and I have been able to find a couple extra results that would not have came up over here.

I use the search function quite often... I usually hit the back button when I see scans with no info below.
