buyback auto

There is two different types.

There is a previously autographed card which has been re-inserted in another product. It usually has a small sticker on the back, and a COA stating it was a previously signed autograph.

There more popular option is a non-autographed card which is re-acquired, sent to the athlete, autographed, serial #'d (usually quite low) and then inserted into a product.

Hope this answers your question!

i have a whole set of them in my bucket....the link is in my signature. I really liked the 03/04 rookie update design, so I picked up all the buybacks from it. the lowest #ing is Brodeur /3.

so where would upper deck get these cards from overstock maybe?

yeah can say I have never seen one!

Some of them are overstock, some of them are re-acquired on the secondary market, hence the name "buyback". A good example of this would be the vintage buybacks from last years OPC product. Those were all acquired on the secondary market, since they were all OPC cards and therefore not in UD's backstock.

Here's an example of the UD Buybacks...notice (with the exception of the SOTT) the cards are all non autographed cards from previous releases....

Well if upperdeck wants to buy any of my cards back they can I will be glad too!!!

I would of course have to accept payment first.... wait.... think about sending them....take a few phone calls from them..... finnaly call them back tell them they are on theyre way..... tehn tell them ooops there not in my inventory but I would gladly send a replacement.....wait some more....then finally send them....and maybe if they were lucky usps would send them to the right address and undamaged !!

LOL
