Apparently foundahobby asked artists for donations to give to his disadvantaged students, and now he's trying to trade off donated artwork.

I'm sending him a PM asking to explain the situation, but until then I'd like these topics to remain invisible. If it turns out there's a legit reason he's offering these for trade I'll open them back up.

I am a mod over on nonsportscardforum.com and he took a few artists who were very generous, one even providing some words of inspiration (it makes sense if you heard his original sob story). I even sent him some Crosby and Ovechkin inserts because he said his "students" liked those players.

What a jerk.

I can speak on behalf of 3 artists that definately did some work for him that were to be used in gifts to the "kids" he "taught" and they were NOT ment for any other reason.

I did not do the detective work, I just reported on what Dane Ault brought up at Scoundrel. I still have yet to hear anything from foundahobby.

I've had decent dealings with this member in the past, so at first I was surprised to read what was going on. I've tried contacting him regarding this with no response as yet.
