Buying Boxes on eBay

queenscollectibles and quecan are the same owner,I buy all my boxes and cases from Quecan, they are 5 minutes from my house, their selection is just unbelievable

I've noticed queenscollectables on eBay and remember thinking how similar to Quecan and grossistesk they were, I guess it makes sense that they are all under the same owner. If I'm not mistaken is it Kings Wholesalers that I keep seeing on the shipping boxes?

How many businesses in the world, allow distributors sell direct to the public? It's crazy!

I personally will never buy a box off of ebay for the exact reasons you mentioned in your initial post - it would just be too easy for someone to pick through and sell some of the less desirable boxes from personal cases off of ebay.

I know that there are good sellers and probably people that you can buy from and have similar odds as buying off of a shelf - I personally just feel safer buying from a brick and mortar shop or an established online seller.

To me the same could be done in a brick and mortar shop, unless you watch them pull the box from a fresh case. I think it all comes down to who you are comfortable buying from. I have a source that I buy my product from and I have had big hits from their products. Likewise you may have a store that you trust. It all comes down to personal preference.

I agree, and I would go strictly brick and mortar, but my options are fairly limited. Regina has a couple of dealers, but the one I like has rather limited hours of operation, and also limited stock a lot of the time. I had a couple of good shops I used to go to in Saskatoon, but that's a bit of a trek from where I am now.

If you ever need any boxes lmk

and I will try to get you the cheapest price I can

Thanks. I will keep that in mind.

Thanks to all for the comments.

Any store owner who cherry-picks boxes from cases is simply put.. "A MORON!"

It's all economics. You buy a box, pull a great card and you will continue to spend $$$ in the store. Over the course of a year, that can add up to a very significant amount.

or

Joe Moron can pick out the case hit and sell it for $165. He sells off the rest of the boxes while that cool card sits in his show-case or until he finally dumps it on eBay. On top of that, his moronic behavior creates a world of doubt..... and doubt kills.

A happy customer tells his friends.
A pissed off one tells everyone.

A happy customer trumps $165 anyday.

ive never had a huge life-changing pull from Queens but I've had some very good breaks, including patches, auto/jerseys, etc.

Every time I try searching for boxes on eBay, I get bored of looking through zounds of blaster boxes and give up. You might check out Dave and Adam's Card world, you can order boxes direct from them.

Dave and Adams is the place for us to buy online. VERY reasonable prices and they treat Canadian buyers right if you know what I mean. Very easy to deal with as well. If I am buying online it is DACardworld.

Now - for Brick and Mortar shops - both Mike at BigTime and Kelvin at Kardsharks are great to deal with. Kelvin definitely treats us very well. He will actually open up a new case and let me/us pick from there if we want a box. Usually it is to his benefit because more often that not - we end up buying the whole frickin' case anyway. LOL.
