Ok, as I wind down the store, I have also been winding down my PC buying big time. That being said, I'm really debating getting the BOS of a Bossy nameplate from SP Game Used. The owner of the cards drove up prices so I had to pay $400 for mine a couple years ago. If I got it I would have 4 of 5 letters. I already have 4 of 5 in Superlative. He wants $600 OBO on eBay. So, now I know my value has been cut into less than half one that I did buy. For my PC I'm not in for the money but if I have an idea that they are going to be worth less than 1/2 what I paid in another 2 years, why buy them now? Also, having just 4 of 5 kinda stinks too. The odds of finding the other? Slim probably. What do you guys think? Go for it or not?

the values were inflated to begin with. the guy who originally bought the cards drove prices up so if he's the one selling now of course the values are going to be going down. also, no where is it set in stone that each Bossy BTL is worth X dollars.

my opinion, it doesn't sound like you bought your letters with value in mind so don't worry about it now. if you feel you want to obtain these letters and the price is something you can handle, then go for it.

Well, look at it this way - how badly do you want them? Because if somebody else puts in an offer and he accepts it, or they just hit the BIN, you'll never see them again. Would you regret it greatly?

If it is OBO, why not make an offer for an amount you are comfortable paying for the letters? If they are something you want to have and you have the money to do so, make the offer. The worst that can happen is the seller to say no.
