Another quarterback who started for the Atlanta Falcons last season has hit the unemployment line.
The Falcons, who cut quarterback Byron Leftwich earlier this offseason, released quarterback Joey Harrington on Wednesday.
Harrington completed 215 of 348 passes last season. He threw for 2,215 yards with seven touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Chris Redman, who started the final four games last season and recently signed a two-year extension, is the only established quarterback currently on the Falcons' roster.
The release of Harrington, who started 10 games last season, may increase the odds Atlanta will select a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in next month's NFL draft.
