Just got back from the Calgary Comic Con this past weekend, it was second time attending and I had a great time! Could only snag a Saturday pass as the tickets for the 3 day event sold out online weeks before. Spent a good 7 hours walking around, taking pictures and checking out my favorite scene, Artist's Alley. I got a few commissions done which I'll post within the next few days.
Last year I took maybe one or two pictures, so I made more of an effort to get shots of all the great and crazy costumed fans wandering about. It's an incredibly well behaved group despite the thousands of people packed into the BMO centre. Everyone I asked to take a picture of graciously stopped and most posed too.

Ensemble cast, loved the group efforts
This costume Amazing, I'm not sure how she did it, but it was so cool to look at. She was really sweet too, she must have been stopped every couple of steps.
Reboot anyone? She even had extra masks to change out her expression!

The mask/make up on the blue girl was incredible
This girl was looking at something at a table when I asked her for a photo, totally took me off guard when she whipped out this ginormous mallet from out of nowhere and posed, was awesome!
Oddest combo?

I took a ton more pics, but it's one of those, "you had to be there" events, definitely recommend for anyone into Sci-Fi, Comics, Anime, or Artsy stuff.
