I was just informed that the shield is from 2010-11, funny thing is We pulled it from a 2011-12 pack.

So it looks like they were planned to be in last years set but they took them off the checklist once they didn't get them on time. I know Osgood,Drury, and Brassard are last years shield as well and I don't see any of them on the checklist on the Upper Deck site. Had they've been redemptions, they would have been included in the checklist. This year, I think Nash and some others were on the original checklist but now they aren't. So does that mean, next year, Nash and the others will be added in th 12/13 set?
 
I was cerious to about if these shields were redemptions in last years product? It makes sense if they were taken off the checklist and UD didn't produce redemptions of them. I was wondering when I saw the Drury and Osgood live, because I was thinking to myself, what if someone pulled a redemption from a pack of last years Ultimate for one of these? I didn't know UD would pull stuff like that off a checklist if they didn't receive it on time. I figured they issued redemptions for everything that hadn't come back in yet from the players.
