So, I borrowed my parent's camera for this outing. Turns out, its a lot better than mine. Here's some of the better shots from last night's game.

I took about 2 minutes to edit the pictures I liked the most, I think it looks a little bit better and it take near of nothing.

DustinBrown - thanks for the tips, but I like the colouring in my versions better. They've been tweaked a bit, but I find yours look a bit overprocessed (might just be my monitor), especially the yellow in Sweden's jerseys.

Nope, I'm not going to the games in Saskatoon. this was my only game action for Team Canada, so I took a lot of pictures.

Holy cow what kind of camera is that?? The pics are incredible. Every time I take pics at a game they seem grainy and blurred. Though it's probably too many beers..lol

Its a Nikon D60 body with a 70-300 mm lens.

It works out the same as having about a 12X optical zoom on a point and shoot, but with a digital SLR, the pictures turn out sooooooo much better. I was sitting in the fourth row of the second level of the Brandt Center (which really isn't that far back, there are probably 15 - 20 rows in the lower level). My seats are right on the red line, so I had great sight lines to both end zones.

The only tricky thing is that is huge to carry that kind of lens around.
