Can I ask why my thread was deleted?

I didn't even get a PM from a mod or anything telling me what was up? I put my site up albertacards.com, exited, hoping to gain some new albertan based memebers so I could have a nice community for local people only to organise and trade/sell with. I don't see any wrong doing in that......anyways, I found it funny when I log on tonight, to see my thread gone and my site offline. I can't get into my ftp or my control panel because my password mysteriously changed while I was out Not a fun night guys. I just expect at least a PM telling me why it was removed. I'm not a child, I don't deserve to be treated like one (by not being informed makes me feel someone felt i was inferior to them and that i was not good enough to warrant a explanation).

Probably cause you were advertising another site, they didnt email you cause if they had to email every change on the site that would take too much time, they volunteer there time here. Im pretty sure theres a spot which has all the rules for the site,

im not sure where maybe a mod or someone could post here to let you know

but im pretty sure you cant advertise another site, most forums do not allow that

Oh. I understand, I thought that would 'probably' be the reason. I wasn't advertising to steal members, just provide the people close to, and in Calgary, a gateway to communicate with other local people
