Got a bunch of these in a buy yesterday. Not sure where they are from other than on the back it say's 2003 In the Game. Didn't find a card listed for it with the #F-22, they all have the prefix F before the card number.
Can someone help with this set

Wasn't that the set from the Toronto Star? I think they were a Foil (F) version of the card.

I was thinking Toronto Star. Never touched it back when it came out, so no clue here lol Blame Parkhurst Rookies as I blew all my money on that

I am relatively sure that Foils are inserts, not parallels.

"you had to buy The Toronto Star and get the coupon out of the paper--then find a participating retailer to buy the pack--promotion ran for one month--there was a different foil card every day so the retailer had to have a different box each day for the featured foil card--had a hard time finding a retailer so only picked up a few packs"
100 base, 30 foils.
Foils are NOT partial parallels and have different pics (I have base #21 Sakic and Foil #F28 Sakic).

Oh that's interesting. I have both base and foils from that set, but I didn't know they were a promo. I thought it was just a regular product available at the time. We got a lot of them here at the time, likely due to the border.

It's a foil insert from the Toronto Star/In The Game set from I think 2003 or 2004. 1 foil insert per pack.
This promotion of the Toronto Star must not have gone over too well. I remember about 5-6 years ago that a local WalMart had boxes of the product selling for $5 each. Excellent price since the packs were originally priced at a couple of bucks. The only flaw when you bought a box was that you got the same foil insert in all the packs in the box. I bought a box that had the Lemeiux foil insert. Managed to come about 6 cards short of completing the base set.
