If u look at that card it say...
"Unique 1999-00 Pacific Premiere Date card #255 Kenny Jonsson Islanders with NO SERIAL #. Typical 1999-00 Premiere Date cards are serial #'ed to 46. However, Pacific produced (1) non-serial numbered 1999-00 Premiere Date set as replacements for damaged cards. This card originates from the Pacific archives. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to add a unique card to your player/team collection."

I DO miss this card in my collection..
But a non numberd card ina numberd serie..? hmmm dont know..
I dotn know how thoes replacments work for damaged cards and why they are replaced..
How would you guys do, would you count that card as real as the numberd?
Is there even numberd left ?

tanx for helping me clear things up..

Best regards
Fredrik

I could be wrong but this just looks like a back stock card that was released when Pacific went under. The sellers is claming that this is a card that was just sitting on the self incase a damaged card came back. The card is blank because so they could number it to whatever number the damaged card was.

For me this card wouldnt count in my collection for the numbered version. If it is cheap I might pick it up for a out of the norm variation card.

Hope thats understandable.

Ok, tanx alot, it helped me alot.. =)
i did feel it was a bit to expencive. or i would buy it..
now i know better, i wont buy non numberd cards... tanx again..
=)

Best regards fredrik

I'd say that it is a neat thing to have, but I would not count it on my list. It was not inserted in a pack and only made its way to the market because Pacific sold off their inventory. It was probably originally held back in case someone pulled a damaged one, they could send it back and Pacific would number this blank one and send it back to them.

I have a 99-00 Tony Amonte Quad Diamond that has no serial number on the back and I've always wondered why(should be #/100). It seems reasonable that pacific sold off that stock but how do you suppose this card came to be?
