Canada Post lag times?

Hey all, thought I'd check with my fellow Canadians, especially those of you in western Canada like me. Today marks 3 weeks in transit for a card I'm waiting on from a trusted Ebay seller in Ontario. I've bought from them plenty before with zero issues, so if they say they shipped it, I believe it. But 3+ weeks for standard shipping in a regular bubble mailer from Ontario to Alberta? Really?

Is there something I missed about recent Canada Post issues again? Is anyone else experiencing similar delays within our own country? Having said this, I'll probably receive it tomorrow now, but if I don't, should I be concerned? What should've been a standard easy transaction is starting to get me nervous, so I'm hoping others can relay similar issues.

Hey Joe,
I'm in Ontario and always thought we were the slow province. The usual time from BC, ALB. to Ont. is 9-12 business days for me but 3 weeks is crazy. I'm waiting on a package from the US (Illinois) that has already taken 5 weeks. It crossed into Canada 4 weeks ago . ????
Canada Post sucks!!

I recently tried to send a standard, normal letter to the US. I was told it would cost $5 and take more than a month to get there. Guess who paid $30 to get it there in a week (or so). Canada Post is a sad, pathetic joke that is no longer funny. I'm seriously considering getting a FedEx or UPS account and sending everything via courier.
