Canada Post shipping question(s)

This is a question for the Canadian members, I have just started trading/selling again for the first time in a couple years and it seems that the trackable/insured mailing options have skyrocketed in price. It is normal for anything tracked/insured starts at $18 and goes up to $30? These are the prices I was quoted yesterday and was wondering if the lady just didn't know what she was talking about? So my question is how do you guys ship to the US and how much does it cost.

Yupp, since they got rid of the small expresspost envelopes to the US (at least in Ontario) you are now looking at either a large $23 expresspost envelope, or about $16+ for registered mail to the US if you want tracking

Within Canada there are much more affordable options but yes, overall shipping prices have jumped quite a bit in recent years
