Just got back from the post office and saw these...



Now, I guess to not get in trouble or something, they're called "souvenir sheets" but they are card sized and each pack has 6 cards....for $15.00!!!!

There's an autograph in every 50 packs, but I don't know if that warrants a $15.00 price tag. Anyway, there it is. Support your local postal corporation. If they start selling fruit next week, you know just how deep in trouble they really are.

they are technically stamps so 6 $2.50 stamps is worth exactly $15. Seems fair

This isn't the first set of cards from Canada Post tho, they did the stuff with Pacific a few years back........









For 15 bucks I'll take a shot..........

Looks like you get $15 worth of postage if I'm reading it right. 6x$2.50 stamps. So not such a bad deal

My uncle is a Harry Howell fan so I'm going to pick a few up.

Just a heads up that Canada Post, in the past at least, prints enough souvenirs that if laid side by side would reach Timbuktu and back (just don't ask for a quote on how much they'd ship them there! :P )
 
I shudder to think how many of the autographed ones are going to be stuck on packages by unsuspecting people sending Coffee Crisps to their relatives overseas.

We just traded some Crispy Crunches and Timmy coffee packets to a gal in Georgia for 2 bags of Pumpkin Oreos!

They're delicious.
 
What, they couldn't get Harvey or Horton to sign? The completionist set collectors are going to go ballistic.
 
Pacific did a similar promotion back in the early days of Pacific. I loved it and they were actually cards with stamps on them. I am still looking to complete my set lol haha
 
I bought 3 'packs' with no auto luck. The stamps do peel off (and are HUGE) but, I plan on using them to ship cards that I sell. Turns into a zero cost for me. 3 packs yielded 18 stamps so, that should do me for a while though. Pretty neat idea - would love to see the autos.

Canada post also has autograhed full size displays on their website. Nice pieces but not cheap. Orr goes for $249 and there's a guy selling one on ebay for $750. Go figure.
 
Hi

I have all the sets they produced back in the early 2000's. I think they did 3 years worth. Nice cards. I have some extras but not sure where they are at they moment.

I just bought 9 packs (and would've bought the box of 10) at my post office today. 6 of them will be gifted.

I was surprised to hear that they were only given 1 box to sell. Ask your post office how many boxes they have. Although they can order more for you.
