Can someone tell me the following for the card grading;

Cost per card
How you ship the cards (higher end concern), tracking, insurance etc.
Turn around time
Which grading company?
Anything else to consider

Maybe a sticky for this thread as I’m sure there are others with the same questions.

MNT lays it out reasonably well on their site. I'm kinda done with BGS at the moment - their services seem at best troubled right now.

PC is the place to be !

I doubt anyone else offer you to track your sub progress on there website , its updated almost daily.

Thanks, it looks like a massive backlog? What is the turnaround? The cards I want graded are vintage so this may be the route to take. I may sit on them and send when that 300k backlog drops...considering they have only graded 4000 this year so far.
And it looks as if 90k were graded last year....so 3 year backlog?

Beckett just increased their prices for grading. Jeez.

WTF? I guess that's one way to deal with backlogs? $35 USD per card is the cheapest option?

IMO Beckett is playing a dangerous game. PSAs are already far outpricing BGS 9.5s right now. These insane price increases are way to get the hobby to totally forget about your product. Grading companies survive on notoriety and people building sets with conformity. Beckett is likely to have entire runs of cards that no one is sending to them for grading.

They now submit 10-15k cards weekly , Pc is the biggest submitter to PSA. I read somewhere the backlog at PSA is at 4-5 millions cards , cant say if its real or not. More people getting in the hobby and submitting , the delay`s and cost are likelly only going up. If you send bulk today your looking at 6-9 months. The more you wait the longer turnaround will be. Cant really compare last year number when 5-6k was a big week. Look at the order tracker on his website it will give you an idea on turnaround time. I got my bulk sub back 2 weeks ago that was entered early June. I have a Standard that got there in August that is in grading , and a bulk in assembly that got there the same day.

Progress of his subs there
