I'm going to be driving from Toronto to Guelph. Are there any shops I should visit along the way. Are there any in Guelph?

Triple B is probably the best guy to ask for Toronto.

The only one near me is Legends of the Game on King St. (Downtown, if you're flying Porter or coming into Union on Via, but otherwise it is not worth the trip).

Martin's Sports Cards is in Guelph, but it's mainly higher end (higher priced) vintage stuff.

Thanks. I forgot about Martin. Is he still open...I thought i heard he closed or was it that he moved?

In Toronto, these shops are tops:
Queensway Sportscards
Legends of the Game
401 Games

In Mississauga, there is Untouchables.

You could also head a bit NW to Orangeville and visit AllStarCollectors on your way SW to Guelph.

I think Martin just moved, not sure where. But he's all there is here in Guelph. There are shops just past us in cambridge/preston, kitchener and waterloo

There is Tally's here in Hamilton. He has a TON of stuff, including lots of stuff 2000-2005, but his prices are borderline ridiculous, and the shop is crammed.

It's actually a fun shop to visit if you ignore the prices. But you'll gag on the prices.

Did I mention his prices were bad?

One sweet bonus is if you show up on the right day, Gordie, The fantastic lead guitar for Teenage Head, works a couple times a week.......

Legends of the Game is the most expensive of the stores mentioned in the GTA. 401 has the most wax, but not much in the way of singles. Queensway is located in Etobicoke, but has the best selection of singles and a good selection of wax at very good prices. Someone also mentioned another store somewhere that topped Queensway, but I can't remember what that was.

Jeremy, if you decide to come by Mike's store here in Orangeville, let me know - would be good to catch up again! We can even drive by Dales house and farm a couple of times... :)

Thanks Cory. Yes, please do come by. Let me know if/when you are coming.
I'd love to meet the man who changed the way UD does business (at least patch-wise)

Guelph? What the hell's in Guelph that you can't get in Barrie, brother? If you're in town for a few days, are you staying for the Sci-Fi Fan Expo downtown? I'm going Saturday -- gotta get my Dave Thomas autograph!

I have a wedding TO on the weekend and then heading to Guelph to visit my goddaughters who just moved there from Calgary.

I'm not sure how far away Barrie is but if it ain't too far I'll try to swing by The Box.

Might see ya there on Saturday, Wayne.

Actually Barrie is just about an hour north of Toronto so if you're coming from Pearson then it's actually just as easy to get to The Icebox than it is to go downtown pretty much.

4 hours from Guelph to Barrie?? Are you driving a bicycle??? :)

I'm in Orangeville, and we're 45 minutes to Guelph, hour max to Barrie... driving by car.

Hope you can make it by Jeremy!

I'll let you know if I can make it. I noted your shops phone number. Would probably be Tuesday on my way back to Pearson from Guelph. Flight is at 5:45 so will need to schedule accordingly.
