The caricature isn't that bad... But I'd have to agree, if you're going to roll out a Third Jersey, at least show it off with having one of the team players modelling it.. :|

I think they look very nice. Canes fans have been after the team to have a third jersey in black for years!

Ill have to pick one up next time Im in Raleigh!

Why anyone names their team after an almost annual traumatic occurence costing billions of dollars is beyond me... The only people intimidated by the name are the people who live there... no wonder no one goes to the games... grumble grumble...

Id still like to see a Whalers "throwback" jersey. Im not sure what is involved with using a Franchise's older jersey...especially after up and leaving the old city. Who owns the rights of the old Whalers jersey?

what about avalanche, lightning, flames, sharks?? oh and while we are at it ... sabres were used to kill tens of thousands in battle and senators were soldiers ........ that killed other soldiers. I would rather be named one of these for intimidation than being called a penguin (who lives the majority of their lives sliding around in their own excrement) or a maple leaf <----enough said

I don't really like it, but its hard to tell. Those light gray patches are distracting. It looks a lot like a roller hockey set up, being head to toe in one colour like that.
