Carrying case V2!

I made this carrying case a couple months ago:

But it was way too heavy for carrying to shows/traders nights.

So I have been on the hunt for a light aluminum case.

Came across this case recently - made for holding CDs:

Materials used:
-aluminum case
-sticky felt sheets
-foam board
-glue

Easily holds 40-60 touch cases safely! I'm extremely with this mini project! Case is not perfect, but fits all my needs and looks decent!

Home Depot carries similar but larger (about 2X that size - holds about 5 rows of 30-40 one touches) aluminum cases made by Plano with dividers (do need to do a little modifying) for around $19. I bought one to house my Beliveau collection and am going to grab a few more for other stuff.

Also the ITG slabs will fit upright in case but I just have them laying that way for now til I finish up with putting all the Beliveau stuff into one touches and adjusting for room accordingly. It is quite heavy with all the one touches but when used for show type stuff in toploads it's a very manageable case.

The CD case was $25, found at a local shopping center. The bigger one Darren is showing is available at Home Depot/Rona and many hardware places.

You are the one that inspired this!!

The "CD" case is very very light, so basically when full (w/50 one touch cases) it's still relatively light.

Handle seems adequate, the plastic used is thick and the joints are pretty solid.

I'm planning on going to the shop to see if they have another one and maybe build another case with a different color lining!
