So I got a few case incentive cards recently from a big Bond trade with Mike (Mikeysleafs). Rittenhouse does case incentive cards that are in toploaders, sealed with a Rittenhouse sticker. I keep my bond autos in a binder & sheets... should I crack the seals and put the cards in the binder, or should I leave them in the toploaders untouched? Thoughts?

I have a few incentives from different products. Some of them I don't ever think I will sell and others I'm not so attached to. The ones I felt I would never move I have cracked and put into magnetic cases. The ones I am not attached to I have simply put into a team bag so that the case doesn't get scratched.

Ultimately, if this is for you and is something you won't sell, take the card out. If you think you'll move them at some point, leave them in.

Another thing you can do (and I have done this in the case of the few I have removed) is to peel the sticker back carefully, take the card out, put the sticker back in place and store the loader with the sticker in a place you can find it. If and when you feel like you need to sell it, you can put the card back into the holder.

I think the whole point is that it is a tamper-proof seal.

If you go to sell it make sure the buyer knows it has been opened.

There's nothing to tamper with...truthfully, I don't even know why they do it. The other thing that I don't like about the incentives is that RA puts them into the top loader as is. No penny sleeve. If you see some of them, they're pretty damaged from being transported and banged around.

Haha, oh my!!!

Rittenhouse started putting the sticker on them a couple of years ago (I think) because people complained that the card would slip out of the top loader. Duh.

Non-sports people know what the case incentives are. I wouldn't see any problem selling or buying one knowing it had been let free.

Yea, that's what I was thinking too Joe... at the end of the day, if I decide to sell in the future, it shouldn't diminish the value to the regular Bond collector. Thanks for the input, guys!

bruce if you love it break it open and set it free, enjoy the card without the ugly gold sticker,i have done it and want to do it again.
