CM Punk Quits WWE?

This has been heading to this point for a year, Punk finally had enough with part time guys getting all the top spots.

This sums it up pretty much. Part time guys keep getting the Wrestlemania main event, so why bother working year round if you can't earn a spot. The fact that Batista came back and talked poorly about the entire locker room before he even showed up. Then he ends up winning spot in the main event of Wrestlemania didn't help either.

Punk said he was retiring in 2014 anyway, so this is basically just an early departure from the game.

I AM glad, however, that he did it this way and not after Wrestlemania. It makes a HUGE statement that he's willing to forego a last massive payday in favor of his morals.

Good on him.

real or work???

It's real. Can't blame the guy at all considering the typical reaction to smaller guys by Vince and Triple H is to do this to them.

I get his beef, if he really has beef, which I think he does. WWE always signs the big name back (Lesnar/Batista maybe Sting too) and they get thrown right into the title picture or a big story line. For guys like punk who do the house shows and all the other stuff related to the business, its probably a real kick in the nuts. You think you're going to get a big role and boom here comes Lesnar or Batista and they're bigger names so they go in front of you.
Too bad, because he's probably one of the best at what he does. Not many can work the mic like him or wrestle like him.

he was supposed to be at a Toledo show Tuesday and wasn't there and the WWE offered people refunds for the tix .....a few sources on Twitter say he has nothing left to od in the WWE except headline wrestlemania which wasn't gonna happen this year and he got sick of the part timers coming in and getting all the push after hes there day in and day out

I cant stand him at all. His promos bore me, he is a good in ring performer but his character comes off as a whiny %%%^$! My brother is all upset about this, eh whatever, good riddance.

I don't get why people think this is a work. When has the WWE ever come up with something elaborate that paid off for the fans? It's always about pushing the part-timers because they happen to have a movie. He's a little whiny, yes, but he's in the right here. Nothing changes with the WWE.
