Hey Everyone, my name is Maggie, and i am new to this site. I am born and raised in Montreal and live in Verdun. Been here since January but have been mainly reading instead of posting i have been collecting since i was a little girl, and my dad has most of the better cards locked up in the garage at their home somewhere. Got to dig them out to see what kind of 91-92-93 rookies that are worth millions that we have:dance:

Well today i came to the reality that i would love to start a player collection. I really have no idea on who to collect. I am an avid Wings fan, like most people out there. My original thoughts were to collect Helm, or Abdelkader. I really like Helm a ton, and think he will have a great future with the team. The only thing is i have been talking to Rob (Bbcwolvesrule)(spelling and apologies for error if any) and he already has a sweet pc going of him.


Any way to cut to the chase, i was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on who they think would be good to collect

If Helm is the first person that came to mind when you were trying to think of someone to collect, than he is who you should collect.

Always go with your gut. I say Helm is your guy. There is always room for multiple collectors of the same player.

the only other downfall about collecting Helm, is as follows. At a local show there was a fellow looking to sell his Helm PC. He had 3-4 1/1's a ton of low numbered stuff and around 40 plates of him. His asking price was $3000 cdn, do you find this a little steep?
