Are we counting players who weren't even in the league last year? If so, easy: Jagr.
If not, are we counting players who were in the league but injured all last year? If so, Parise.
If not, are we counting players who just had down years? If so, Kovalchuk.
As for breakout years, we will see huge production increases from JvR, Tavares, and Dustin Brown.

By breakout season I am thinking of someone that hasn't hit their full potential in the NHL yet. My vote goes to Nikita Filatov. He should get some good minutes this year on the two top lines. It's either now or never for him. Should prove interesting to see who actually does have the breakout season. I guess time will tell.
