My son knows comics. I don't know nothing about comics really.
What is a good comic book to get into in Marvel? He's only 9.
I'm collecting Marvel Team Up. My son says the issue is boring.
I love the early issues with all the artwork.
He loves Flash, Green Lantern too. Why?

A sign of the times. I still love my 80s books like GI Joe, Transformers, and Spidey, but that's because it takes me back to when I was a 10-year old. Now MY 10-year old thinks comics "are dumb" and has no interest in them. He watches Arrow and Flash on tv, but no way is he gonna read any picture books of them!

For a 9 year old the Ultimate Spiderman run was a real fun read. It stays fairly close to the original stories but is modernized. If you aren't restricted to Marvel I recommend Batman Adventures, it is a great comic for younger readers. I also recommend buying the first Jeff Smith "Bone" trade paper back, one of my favorites and my son loved it.

I have the first two comics of Ultimate Spiderman. Thanks, I heard it was a great run.
My son likes Batman too.
