I've been watching some auctions on eBay and have always wanted some of the Bond cards... have been a Bond fan since I can remember, and of course I have all the movies. Anyways, came across decently priced boxes on Dave & Adams website, so thought I'd give them a shot!

The quality of cards that Rittenhouse puts out is awesome... the collation almost as awesome! There are 40 packs in each box, 5 cards in each pack. So, 200 cards (give or take - I believe the remove one card in each pack that has a movie-used memorabilia card). The box promises one auto card and one movie-used memorabilia card, along with periodic insert cards. The base set is 189 cards (21 movies x 9 cards for each movie). The COOLEST thing about this card set is that the 9 cards in each movie have the original movie poster printed on the back of the 9 cards, so in a binder you can see the poster! Very smart idea...

So... in my first box, I got 4 duplicates... yes, I said FOUR duplicates! I also received the Sebastien Foucan auto (Casino Royale dude that jumps up a construction skyscraper!), the movie-used Tarot Card from Live & Let Die and a bunch of other insert cards. I believe I'm only 2 cards away from the full base set from ONE box! Very nice in my opinion.

In the second box, I got 3 duplicates....... unreal! I also received the Timothy Moxon auto (Dr. No), the movie-used Bond Medical Report from The World is Not Enough and another bunch of insert cards, including the very cool die-cut refractor card of Vesper Lynd (omg... drooooooool Eva Green!). Again, I believe I only need 1 or 2 base cards for the set! Pictures below.

I'm totally impressed with this product and it's causing me issues as I love my hockey, but with this sort of collation, quality and great inserts, for the money, I may start leaning to other Rittenhouse products now. Overall, the movie-used pieces were great, the autos were a little disappointing, but as a set-builder this product receives a very enthusiastic 4.75/5 HI FIVES!

Thanks for sharing Bruce! That looks like crazy fun!!! I love the new Casino Royale movie,... surprisingly, I really liked Daniel Craig as James Bond!!!

Will keep that in mind for non-sport break potential in the future! :D

I went into the movie expecting him to suck... and was totally blown away by his acting and how perfect he is for the "real" Bond. That movie rocked... so little to do with gadgets as the last few, and so much to do with back-to-basics. Hopefully they keep that sort of plot style going in the next couple!

Very nice Bruce, broke a box of this myself that I'll throw up scans of in the next day or two. I've got to say, my 2 favorite features on the non-sport are the awesome collation (that goes for Inkworks as well as Rittenhouse) as well as the thought put into designing the sets - ie insert sets of 9 or 18 cards so they fill pages in binders, not 10. As well as things like the puzzles you mention on the backs of the cards.
