I just wanted to congrats Drew Brees on breaking the all time single season record for passing yards that was held by Dan Marino. That reason was held by Marino for 27 years. Congrats Brees:beer:

I liked that he got it on a TD as well. He is so much fun to watch, except when he is playing your own team that is.

I don't know, it was pretty fun watching him play the Seahawks in the playoffs last year .

He is in the midst of an all-time great season, and congrats to him. To think he will likely finish the year with the record, although both Brady and Rodgers can surpass Marino too, yet is still not likely to win the MVP award.

It amazes me that not one, but TWO quarterbacks are going to surpass Marino this year (highly doubt Rodgers will get there). In any other year he would get the MVP, but he decided to break the record in the same year as perhaps the greatest individual display of quarterbacking ever seen. The NFL is Mr. Rodgers neighbourhood this year.

Another reason why it sucks to be a Chargers fan right now....

Amen, wouldn't you know it's an ex-Charger to an ex-Charger for the record breaking pass/touchdown. I was upset when they let Michael Turner leave, even more upset when they let Sproles go. The decision making on who they keep and who they let go just boggles my mind. Even a guy that not many people have heard of prior to this season, Laurent Robinson, wasn't "good enough" to stick with the Chargers this year so they let him go. He only has 800 yards and 9 touchdowns with the Cowboys, nah, Rivers couldn't have used him at all this year.......

I think they need to focus on not sucking in September and October.

This is because the Packers defense has given up more yards than the offense has produced. With Aaron Rodgers at the helm of said offense. And they're 14-1.
