I think, at this point, it's fairly easy to pinpoint the front runner from each remaining club:

Pittsburgh: This one is the only pick I would debate. I think, if he continues at a decent pace, Crosby will likely get it as the writers love to boost the guys hardware count (And not without merit), but I would take Malkin personally. He has been dynamic to watch in every game I've seen.

Ottawa: Karlsson. Plain and simple what a performance by him logging big minutes.

Nashville: Rinne. Case closed.

Anaheim. Has to be Getzlaf. Like Malkin, he's been a standout in every game I've seen, truly leading by example. (Except with his mouth. Ha!)
 
Rinne is the Nashville candidate for sure. The Penguins candidate is the team doctor.

Nah I think the Pittsburgh candidate is still up in the air depending on who does what in the Finals. Could be Crosby, or Malkin, or even Fleury because let's face it the Pens aren't even in the ECF without him.

Malkin leads the playoffs in PIM still I think. That's all I'm gonna say lol! It's plagued him the past 2-3 years, gotten worse actually. Just takes far too many stupid penalties.
 
He finals will decide. Sid is doing well with points and as usual doing all the small things. His puck possession time and how he dominates down low gets over looked as people only want to talk about his points. Malkin is very similar, winning face offs as well as points.

Runners imo is the strongest candidate for the Predators. All4 top D for the Preds could win if they have strong finals, it's there for the taking.
 
Rinne for the Preds, and Crosby for the Pens. Though I think the Pens will win the Cup, so Crosby gets it.

Perfect example of what I meant. We're up 3-1, getting outshot like crazy, and Malkin takes a stupid penalty that leads to a PPG and ensuing goal. 1-0 Nashville after that and I hang it on YET ANOTHER stupid penalty from Malkin.

Hope I'm wrong but....
 
Rinne finished with something like a .556 SV% after that game last night. Good thing the empty net goal didn't count against his numbers. That was a weird game overall though so he's bound to be much better the rest of the series.
 
Rinne chased out in game two so his chances are long gone now. Malkin is the front-runner with six points in his last five games and a nice goal tonight.
