While I was in Chicago last week, I missed my cousins wedding.. but I remembered to send some items with my parents for my cousin Brett Marietti who used to play with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL and Amerks and Knights before that..

Back in the day scouts had him draft rated for 1st/2nd round.. but because of a real bad knee injury.. he lost the chance at the NHL and decided to stay in the ECHL.

I dont see him much because of him now living in S.C.

He sent me this sweet replica a long time ago, and had him sign it finally last week..

also had these 8x10's of him that were given to me a long time ago from a photographer of AHL games..

Sorry for the long read.. up to this day my cousin will always be my idol, and I can say I was one of his biggest fans through out his career.

so I got a call from him while in Chicago telling me he signed the items etc.. and that he would be sending me a Game worn jersey sometime next week! it might be a Original one.. or a Special Army Camo version they wore for 1 game..

on another note.. I found out Corey Perry was supposed to be at this wedding.. but had to cancel last minute as he was needed in Anaheim..
