I just got a SPGU duo patch Toews,Kane in the mail a few days ago, was looking at it and was wondering where the blue comes from on the Toews patch.

So i go and look at my Authentic Patrick Kane rbk jersey signed, and I relize that there is no blue, so I go on the web and look at the logo and find out there is blue.

Notice the black third feather and the Eye is missing the two lines and the circle is missing the green outline around the red.

notice how the third feather is blue, and mine is Black.

Thanks for the view, the jersey was purchased of ebay about 6 months ago.

Is the jersey a fake or real ?

im not sure if it is a real or fake i just checked my black version of kane jersey and didnt see if it had same colours and it didnt let me know if u decide to get rid of it though
 
I checked my Khabibulin 06-07 Blackhawks Gamer and there is Blue in there. I'm thinking the replica jersey is not authentic. Is it made in Canada? Seems there's lots of fakes being produced as was mentioned in a previous thread.
The patch in the card is authentic.

Hi, the jersey says rbk authentic, has the tags and everything all 100 % legit looking like an authentic reebok jersey.

Im stumped lol
 
I pulled this card myself, and I still have it, plenty of blue!

I don't think it's fake for the simple fact that why would they Fake Toews and not fake Kane? Plus the above post before mine should clear up the blue.

Im trying to make a point if the jersey is a fake, becuase the feather is black instead of blue.
 
I'm going to lean toward the jersey not being authentic. I think it should have a second Reebok logo on the left sleeve, which I don't see in the pic of yours. also the cut looks a little different.

I'm in no way an expert.
 
I deal with Reebok for a company here in Buffalo, and to clarify Premier (replica) jersey have the RBK vector on the sleeve, the common one that sells for $150.

Authentic game jerseys don't have this on the sleeve, have numeric sizing (ie XL is 52), reinforced elbows and shoulders, different, much heavier material (unless you get your hands on an Edge 2.0 gamer), fight straps, cost $300, and I could go on.

Based on your pictures, I can tell you that the jersey is not made by RBK. It is a knockoff, Chinathentic, bootleg, whatever you wanna call it. The material is all wrong, the emblem looks like it is all twill, where a true Authentic would have an almost pilled look for the feathers, as seen on the patches pictured in the thread. Most of the jerseys on eBay/websites other than NHL.com, River City Sports, etc are knockoffs. Sure you get an "authentic" jersey for $45.00, but trust me, when you get it, more often than not your really disappointed, cause it looks like crap.

100% fake jersey...and a bad one to boot (sorry). With all the fake Chicago trading cards that have been shown here on the boards, people have analysed that emblem to no end. Like someone else said, the material is wrong. Even in the Canucks store at GM Place, they sell the replica jerseys' that are quite different than the actual gamers.
 
the ebay jerseys are great if it doesnt matter what happens to it. i wear my 50 "authenfake" at games when im drinking beer,no worries if i spill or get one dumped on me after a score. i laugh though on the sharks third jersey being sold,claiming to be real.i email them asking if its real, why dont the players version have black laces on theirs? never get a reply. hope you didnt spend too much. the auto is cool though,still a nice piece none the less.
