Crosby 20 years from now.

If he remains at his current pace, 1,500-1,600 points and 500 goals is a likelyhood. However, I don't see his cards increasing, at least not drastically. The only one that will probably hold long-term value is his Cup rookie.

Haha, you paraphrased my entire post before I even posted. :D

In 20 years Crosby will be retired. The game changes over time, older players lose their speed, new players coming in are better than the generation before them. I think he will be lucky to have the career Yzerman or Sakic have had. Without a handful of Cups and a Conn Smythe or two his cards wont be worth half of what they are now, with a few exceptions.

Also, and I think this was mentioned, we don't really have a precedent for this sort of thing. In the past, players have pretty much 2-3 rookies tops. With the way the hobby has evolved, Crosby has to have at least 20-30 legitimate rookies. Its going to be hard for any one of those, The Cup aside, to maintain it's impact. Perhaps his SPA or Ultimate could survive without too much of a drop off, but they would have to be harder and harder to find before that happened.
