Hello HI community. It's been a minute.
So I'm gonna keep it short (it means its gonna be long) but I thought It would be a pretty cool story to share.
Back in 06-07 season, I started collecting hockey cards again
(1 year too late)
So I busted some spgu and pulled a 2 color black/gold inked sweater auto patch Crosby card. It was my biggest pull yet. However within a year, the Crosby signature started to fade. I started freaking out. I contacted upper deck and was happy to be informed that they will be replacing the card. I then received a replacement card, same exact card but this time a 3 color.

I was pretty happy with this replacement. Can't complain.
Same exact card. They changed the patch to 3 colors. I'm not gonna complain.
Well, lets fast forward 10-11 years.. yes you read that right. 10-11 years. I noticed that the card started having discoloration. The edges started turning green. I couldn't believe it. I was so upset as I store my cards in a dry and dark place. Checked all my other cards and this was pretty much the only card withthe discoloration.

So I contacted upper deck despite hearing about their1 year replacement policy, told them what happened, they came back and asked me for my address phone number and pics etc... then didn't hear back. I contacted them again and they said my request was rejected. At this point why would they ask me for all this info?? To just tell me its rejected? Something didn't make sense. So I requested an escalation. This was around July 4th.
They finally responded back confirming that they understand that there is more to this issue than just a replacement, as I had issues with this card before and approved replacement. They said they would replace it with equivalent value. I simply asked for a signed Crosby with 2-3 colors and similar numbering /25. I sent in the card.
Fast forward to today, I get a fed ex package and at this point I'm expecting a card with equal value.
I open up the package and first thing I see is

So at this point I'm happy. It's a Crosby inked sweaters. There is only one card. I'm expecting something with similar numbering.
But then I flip the card
