okay well at the end of the month i plan on locking my crosby in a safe and not touching it for a long time, because whenver i have a higher end crosby i end up taking it to card shows to start conversation or to bragg :D but like usual i end up trading it for pahenuf cards lol so i dont want that to happen

anyways back to the main point of the thread, is an spa rookie or multiple younguns (3+) a better long term investment of crosby????

thanks:stanley:

I don't think we can talk of "long-term investments" with modern-era cards to be honest, regardless if the player is Sidney Crosby or Ryan O'Byrne or the guy that makes you go "who is that guy?" whenever you pull his RC. But to be honest I think the SPA is a much nicer card than the YG.

I don't think there is a term long term investments on newer cards. They are pretty much maxxed out right out of the box. If I had to pick a card I would go with the SPA. JMO tho :D

long term investments are better left to vintage cards, but that aside i'd stick with the SPA... not only a rookie but a signed rookie at that. SPA is #'d to just 999 but you can bet your boots there are at least 10X that in young guns.

As much as I prefer the SPA RC to the UD Young Gun, having 3 of them offers you some flexibility down the road. I would go with the Young Guns if I HAD to make a decision
