Hi. So I was looking at Sidney Crosby Young Guns rookies on eBay and came across this auction -

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SIDNEY-CROSB...301630?hash=item3ae48939be:g:J7IAAOSw~FJZG4Wn

The card is missing the Upper Deck logo on the top right corner and it is missing Sid's first and last name on the front right side as well. Interesting to say the least. Not sure if anyone has seen this type of error before, but seems like it could be quite rare. In my opinion, the 10k price tag is crazy, but you never know what someone will pay these days. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Collin

It's missing the silver foil embossing... it's happened in other years, so it's possible it missed that year too. In my opinion, very definitely a possible error. As far as what it's worth? That's up to whoever ends up buying the thing I guess, but I've never been one that puts a premium on an embossing error. To me, it's an incomplete card only, worth less than a regular card.

I saw that auction - seller claims it as a 1/1 which is of course BS because Beckett has one graded in its registry, so there are at least 2!

lol.. i dont think a printing error like that warrants a price tag like they have.. to each his own i guess
