I used to set up at the old Leon’s show here in Toronto back in the early 90s. Every time I see a reprint of a card, it reminds me of one dealer losing his mind because someone had swapped out his Gretzky RC with a reprint. He had a Gretzky in his showcase and someone asked to see it and used slight-of-hand to hand the dealer back a fake.
Any dealers in the room selling raw Crosby YGs (or any card with known reprints), be careful of that move.

Was looking to buy a raw Patrick Kane YG but saw a reprint for his being sold as well. Have now passed on a couple of raw cards as it is difficult to tell the difference in a scan. This is something that UD should pursue immediately. It hurts the integrity of the product and you can be sure that more people will start doing this if they see others get away with it.

If "you're" doing this for youself (with no intent of profiting) that's one thing otherwise you're ripping off the company and just as if not more so important the photographer. Unless reprint is printed at least on the back it is sketchy as ____.

I'd be pissed if I owned that actual card and blatant reprints were being sold on eBay. At least cut the serial number out of the card if you're going to rip it off.
If there's any bright side to this fiasco it's that the Cup and FWA reprints have the serial numbers on them and can be traced. The YG reprints have no such markings to differentiate them from the rest of the print run and it would be way easier to fool people.

I think I saw at least 3 Crosby YG reprints up for sale today (probably more, didn't do a full search). One looked like it had REPRINT on the back, the others didn't. Hard to discern the difference on an Ebay scan. I would be hesitant to by a raw YG at this point.
