CSG?

It looks promising but I highly doubt it will do great. BGS and PSA are the standards for sports cards. MNT is a newer company in Canada and in my opinion they do a great job but the majority of the hobby don’t put much value in their cards.

One other thing is that a lot of it will depend upon their grading card prices. If they are cheaper than BGS and PSA and they have a quicker turnaround time then they have some potential.

They’ll take a share of the market with ease since BGS can’t smarten up. PSA is expanding their business while BGS is expanding their turnaround times.

CSG has set themselves back by hiring Andy Broome who is said to be a huge reason that trimmed and altered cards have made their way into PSA holders. We’ll see if they bend to pressure from collectors regarding his involvement.

I'm all for this. Hockey desperately needs another big player in the grading game. Beckett has awful turnaround times, and both companies are responding to their slow turnaround times by increasing prices dramatically.

I have doubts that this will catch on though. Even SGC, which is big in other sports, won't get traction with hockey fans.
