Has anyone had trouble getting allocation? Maybe it's just my area, but it doesn't seem as limited as rumoured... I believe more than a few stores got 12+ cases (6 tin ones).

From what I can calculate, there are 10,773 tins made. Easiest way to figure is 1 Ultimate pack per tin. you get 1 Ultimate base per pack 27 players/399 per player. you can figure the odds of most cards from that.

I could be wrong, there are not enough ARPs for that many tins, and some tins are getting 2 ARPs per tin. so...

Hearing the price is $550 plus per tin I would think it will take a while to sell. UD says they did not raise the price this year so I guess Distributers and B&Ms are making a fortune
The price we pay for being CDN.. we have to go through distribution channels.

There is no way that the serial numbering on the Ultimate Base cards dictates how many Cup cases are built. If there is a correlation at all, it is marginal.
If all 399 copies of the base cards were even printed, you can bet there are loads of them still at UD and that they will either be destroyed or given away in some other manner.
I would say the same thing about The Cup base cards - they do not drive the case count.
You can't even base your math on the quantity Cup ARP's to try to figure out how many cases were made.
The main (and perhaps only) driver of how many cases they build is the amount of "case hits" they have.
Tin Prices in Calgary are $450.

We didn't get anywhere near as much as we expected. Our last 2 cases are being used for breaks Sunday night. I am sure a miraculous 2nd wave will hit distributors next week for only small markup of course...
