Cup rookie jersey number

Question around Cup rookies and which jersey number is desired. For example, Mikael Sergachev rookie year with the Habs was 22. His number now is 98. Which is the ‘one’ to get? His original rookie number that his card shows or his number as a full-time NHLer.

Thoughts are appreciated.

Since it's not necessarily the case because rookies can end up with different numbers during camp, which is when many photos happen, I'm going to say "matches the picture" regardless of what's actually worn during the season.
