Damaged UD product

I have a pretty nice patch card that has some UD damage on the back. Namely a scrunched corner. The card is a #2 of 5 and has a really awesome patch in it. I want to send it in to UD for replacement, but I have a question. In others experiences, if you send in a patch crad for replacement will UD send you the same card with the same patch swatch, or do they send you somthing else comparable in exchange?
I love the card I have, but I am irritated with the damage that came with it out of the pack. I would hate to lose such an awesome swatch.
Does anyone have experience with this issue?

they will either replace the card with a new one (which is unlikely since your card is rare) or do the value exchange thing. You will not be getting your current card "fixed".

Tough call but if it were a player I collected I would just keep the damaged copy. If you were looking to flip it on the bay, I would list it as is and give a clear description of the damage in the listing. If the patch is unique, I suspect your return will be about the same given the card is #/5. The risk and hassle of sending it back, hardly seem worth it to me..... My $.02. Mike
