Darren Pangs flub up!

I really wish that was enough for the Blues to fire him.I literally mute the TV when the Blues are playing because of him and his inane commentary:|

I'd put Errey at the top of my hater list. I'm fortunate enough to only see him on NHL network but that's plenty for me. Never really hated Pang always thought of him like the little bald guy on Benny Hill but to each his own. Wings have Mickey Redmond who is probably the biggest homer out there but all you can do is laugh..:)

I'm a Bruins fan and I still hate the guy. I have no idea how fans of the opposing teams could ever listen to him call a game.

I saw it happen live, and I didn't think twice about it. There was no question in my mind that he meant to say "right". If this is news, I guess it's a good thing Elmer Fudd isn't calling Habs games....

It stinks because they added a new feature where you could get both broadcasts. The FSN games usually show both on DirecTV. And when we do get the Flyers local feed it's never in HD.

I agree it was nothing more than a slip in words. Like Tanguayfan if watching you probably wouldn't even notice but in the aftermath it's an off color slip that gave me a chuckle.
 
I never even noticed it when I watched it on the telecast. I am sure in the back of his mind he was thinking something along the lines of "they wouldn't be worrying about his "cockiness" if he were a white guy", and that caused this freudian slip.

You guys are lucky and you don't even know it!

There is only one french language channel that broadcast NHL hockey games: RDS. And we (french) have to listen to the king of bad colourmen: Benoit Brunet.

You should hear him! When the Habs are down, he have the tone voice of a guy who just learn that his mother is dead. When the Habs win, you might think he just won the lottery.

But the worse is than he can explain this great game that hockey is. I can't understand how this guy played all those years in the NHL wich so less inside about the game. That's scary...

Some time, TSN, CBC or CTVsportsnet broadcast Habs games, wich is a great relief for my Hockey IQ. Saddly, that just happen 20 or 25 time a year, here in the Maritimes.

well his flub up was nothing!! I absolutely hate how sensitive people are regarding these type of things. I just read about the time when kelly hrudey made a comment describing a play where pk subban didn't take any of a guys "monkey business"... people got all over that lol. Ah oversensitivity towards this type of stuff just makes me laugh, a lot.

The media can make a story about anything. What I wouldn't give to be famous for a day and just see what they could come up with about me. I am sure Panger isn't going to any klan meetings anytime soon hahah.

Who's being sensitive other than yourself? I put it on here as I thought it was a funny slip up. I don't think anyone has said anything negative other than they never liked him in the first place. I prefaced the post with I didn't think he was a racist so no reason to bring the hate into it.
 
whoa mr poopey pants fun sucker. It was a funny flub up. I didn't hear anything about it until I saw the article posted on the main page of yahoo after he made a public apology for it. I was just saying that it is kind of insane that this is news anyway.
