Verified Trader,
Gang,
I've noticed a lot of listings on eBay referring to jersey swatch cards as patch cards. Just to throw an example out, there's this listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-08-PETER-MUELLER-SPX-ROOKIE-AUTO-PATCH-499_W0QQitemZ330225174530QQihZ014QQcategoryZ149917QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It seems like disproportionately, I'm seeing 08 SPx rookie jersey and Winning Combos Spectrum cards mislabeled as patches. I'm having trouble determining if I view this as ignorance or deception.
Given the definition of the term "patch" I took off of google, a patch is "a piece of cloth used as decoration or to mend or cover a hole". Technically, does this even make them incorrect to call a jersey swatch a patch?
I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
