Different Sort of Set... Buybacks..

One of my all time favorite sets was 1996-97 SP. I was very young at the time of it's release but tried a few packs way back. Back then this was considered a "higher end" set. Decided rather then going for the base set (which I may yet do one day) I decided why not pickup the buybacks. I've missed out on a few since starting this mini set. I missed out on a Richter and Gretzky. There is an Yzerman on ebay but it's slightly more then I am looking to pay. If you happen to have any from this set that may be available, please let me know. I have no idea who else may have a buyback from this set other then those pictured and the three I mentioned... These buybacks are from 00-01 SPA and UD Reserve... Enough reading, time for the picture....

They really were great looking cards. All inserts and base cards were and still is amazing. First SPX, first Clearcut, Game Films yes wow. Nice show.

Holy puck! I've been wanting the Palffy and Bure for ages! Wonderful cards, some of the 90s buyback autos are really just amazing. They ought to do more in future sets!
