Disappearing posts - Anyone else having this?

Today, I have seen 2 of my posts, and one of another person just disappear.
For:

I know I responded PM sent for the Bossy 1/1, and I also saw the OP, had a post that said, responded to all via PM, or something to that effect.
Awhile later I checked back and both posts had disappeared.

I then started a new post in Hobby Talk about how my faith had impacted my collecting, and 15 minutes later I checked back, and the post was gone. Disappeared.

In both cases I saw the posts live, so it wasn't a case of not entering them correctly.

Is anyone else having this? Should HI staff maybe look into this?

Fingers crossed. Hope this post doesn't disappear too.

The same thing happened to me...the only thing I can think of is already having a thread on the page...I remeber reading somewhere that you can only have one thread a page, although I could be wrong.

But in my case, the first two posts were in a thread in Show & Tell that still exists. My new post was about faith and collecting and rest assured there wasn't one of those posted either.

Good to know I'm not the only one. Seems to be an issue. Losing posts isn't a good thing.

Again, why with two posts within a show and tell thread? That doesn't make sense to me.

another big concern is people constantly starting up threads in the wrong section

A lot of traffic here.. yes... but that doesn't mean your thread won't be spotted elsewhere.

Probably best to PM a moderator to check about stuff like this.

Maybe they don't want religious discussions to avoid anyone arguing or making discriminatory remarks.

I have seen this happen and usually the Mods oversee all the post. Religious topics can be very boarderline so I can understand why that would be removed even if it was enlightening for you

I know they try to keep everything neutral

Religious/political slanted discussion has little or no value here. Start that up in the Parking Lot forums if you must.

As I've pointed out in quite a few Show & Tell threads.. They are not for conducting business.. If you want to show interest in an item, send someone a PM about an item in a Show & Tell thread.. Then what is the point of saying,

PM sent about.... !!!

Hope this sheds some light onto the disappearing thread mystery...
