Not so much into wrestling anymore these days but I still love my wrestling DVD's and pick up some when they come out with a good one. Wondering if anyone else does the same and what your collection looks like? Here is what I have:

DX Set (The one that was a re-release from the VHS)
ECW One Night Stand 2005 and 2006
Bret Hart Set
HBK Sets (2 different collections)
Ladder Match Collection
Mic Foley Set
Monday Night Wars
Ric Flair Sets (2 different ones and the 4 Horsemen one)
Rise and Fall of ECW
Rise and Fall of WCW
Spectacular Legacy of AWA
Starrcade Collection
The Rock's DVD set
Triumph and Tradegy of WCCW
Wrestling with Shadows (Bret Hart documentary)

Have a couple other ones I am trying to get rid of as I have been trimming down my collection.

Yep, I no longer watch but keep a fairly healthy collection of stuff that I watched as a kid. On my shelf right now (which means I may have lent a couple out) are:

-The Royal Rumble Complete Anthology
-2 of the Hogan sets (Hogan Still Rules and the Complete Anthology)
-Roddy Piper
-Dusty Rhodes
-The life and times of Mr. Perfect
-Bloodbath (the Steel Cage anthology)
-Andre the Giant (the VHS re-release)
-Billy Graham (I'll probably never watch this since I don't really know/care. It was just part of a box set)
-Hall of Fame 2003 or 2004 (I can't remember which one)
-Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story (I haven't opened this yet, and probably won't be in a mood to watch it anytime soon)
-Greatest Wrestling Stars of the 80s (this one is a must have if you can find it based on what you have in your collection already)
-Spectacular Legacy of the AWA
-Rise and Fall of ECW
-McMahon
-Mick Foley: Greatest Hits and Misses
-Jake the Snake
-Bret Hart
-The first Ric Flair collection
-The Four Horsemen

I have a couple modern ones too, but some of those are just there because they feature older stuff I was interested in (like Rey Mysterio 619)

This doesn't account for the 2-300 VHS tapes I have downstairs with stuff from the 60s till 2001. I've got a lot of junk and Coliseum Video dubs that suck (those 1 hour compilations with cut matches of specific wrestlers) but there's some gold I'll have a hard time parting with (like the original closed circuit/PPV broadcasts of Wrestlemania 1, 2 and 3, and Starrcade 1983, 1984 and 1987)

How does the 2nd Ric Flair DVD set differ from the first? I haven't watched the Hogan Complete Anthology but I don't know how it could differ from Hulk Still Rules, which was a kayfabe nightmare.

I know Jon (Bebop) also has a small collection of WWF/E DVDs, but I think the majority of his collection is comprised of MMA.

Not I but one of my friends does so if I ever want to re live the moment from back in the day then I can watch his dvd's. I remember watching the Legion of Doom dvd, it was interesting.

Not sure the Stars of the 80's is up my alley. I only try to go for certain types of DVD's (Fed docu's, Sets of my favorite wrestlers, certain specialty ones) but the 80's didn't really line up with what I like. Same with Stars of the 90's.

My favs are always the old Federation documentaries, they are so good IMO I can watch them over and over. I don't dive into my collection to watch specific matches as much as I do for the documentary portion of my sets.

Also to answer your question about the 2nd Flair DVD, it actually has a bio of his career so I thought that was pretty cool. Of course in typical WWE fashion it glosses over some parts that are talked about on other DVD's. Perfect example that comes to mind is his real life feud with Eric Bischoff. I mean that was a big part of Flair's life so I was shocked and disappointed they didn't talk about it much/at all (Can't remember which).

They seem to gloss over thing alot in certain sets. I just ended up watching the Rise and Fall of WCW this weekend and because Starrcade and the Monday Night Wars already talks about certain aspects of the company, I felt Rise and Fall breezed over some stuff. I guess they expect you to have the other WCW themed titles and just know about stuff.

Well...like I said, I found a lot of these docs to be a kayfabe nightmare. If I recall correctly, they don't go into a ton of detail about what caused Flair to leave WCW in 1991...not to the level that was deserved anyway in the first DVD.

The other thing that really killed me on Hogan DVD was the amount that it seemed he pointed the finger at others...they never touched on pretty important things, like derailing Curt Hennig's career, which was massive IMO.

Do you read the books as well? There are a few books I can recommend if so. I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Batista book right now, and I'm impressed with the fact that he stood his ground on a lot of what he wanted to write simply because it's stuff you wouldn't expect to see them deal with much on a DVD for a person that is still alive.

I've read a bunch of the books (Foley's 3, Hart, Flair, Jericho, Bischoff, HBK, most of Edge) can't remember any others. same idea only guys I liked so I skipped tons. Loved Foley's first, Bret and Jericho's.
