Make best offers on ebay store items? I find most items in the stores are double or triple what the cards normally sell for in auctions. Everytime I make an offer on an item for the same price or a little more then what the last few sold for it gets rejected. Why offer best offer if you only want to sell for the buy now price....it puzzles me.

A very valid point..... Having a Best Offer option and then holding out for the BIN. Very frustrating! :(

Makes me wanna stop buying things off of the Bay!

I kind of wondering if if anyone ever used the best offer but I don't I just look at the price and decide if I have to have it or not...I agree though why have the option if you are not going to use it--speaking as a buyer that is....

As a buyer I have never used the best offer option.

As a seller I used it once, and sold it to someone who made an offer.

I've bought a few cards with the Best Offer option, but most of the time the seller never even responds to the offer so it expires. very annoying.

I actually enjoy the best offer option very much... in one instance a seller wanted $220 US for an Ice Patch I needed and they accepted a BO...

I plugged in a best offer of $58 and they accepted!

Puzzled me, but i took it :D

I had luck recently. $15.00 BIN / Best Offer on a Ryan Craig 06 Ultimate GOLD #'d 25/25. I watched it go around once, no takers. It came around again so I offered $7.00 + s&h. Accepted within 15 min.!! Then the card arrived and the seller included a full Lightning team set of UD ICE level 4 R/C's!! I was floored!!

Then there was today...I've been burning up the Bay trying to lay paws on one of the 06 Ryan Craig The Cup Auto/Patch cards. I watched one with a $100 BIN / Best Offer. I offered(kinda low, I'll admit), they declined. I used the "ask seller a question" to increase my offer, but got no reply.
The listing is coming to an end and I get an email. The seller is now willing to take that increased offer.
Long one to short one...PayPal registered and should be shipped and on its way by Friday!!

Sometimes it works...depends on the seller.
;)

I've used best offer a few times. I think almost every offer had been accepted. Many of the cards have been the kinda cards I have newer seen as normal auctions. Usually somewhere around half BV has done the trick.
