Donruss Pulls Michael Vick From Products
07.30.07: Donruss will be pulling all Michael Vick trading cards from it's products starting in October with the release of Donruss Gridiron Gear. The announcement comes during a time where controversy surrounds Vick, who has been indicted on charges of running a dog-fighting operation.
The situation was discussed internally and the unanimous decision to move forward without Vick, removing him from all future programs starting with Gridiron Gear, was made. The company plans to remove Vick base cards, autographs and memorabilia inserts from all of its remaining programs.
