suits up and plays in this first homestand. I just have a feeling he will be out there....maybe even against Ovechkin on Thursday!:dance:

Interesting. Let's say the doctors clear him for contact tomorrow.
If you're the Penguins, do you put him in a game situation right away, or do you see how it goes in practice for a week or so?
He is definitely the difference between being a non-contender or a Stanley Cup Champion. Do you risk it and get him bac kin there right away (where he will be a target; no doubt about it), or bide your time a bit longer, by seeing how he takes light practice scrimmage contact? That would help him get his timing back, game condition senses, etc.
And who said he was even seeing a doctor today?

Just about every media outlet in Pittsburgh said he was.. In fact he is going this week at some point..and that came right from Sid.. I watched practice, and if he is not cleared for contact, well, some players did not get the memo including Sid himself. There were no big hits, but there was a lot of bumping. He did well with it from what I could see.
