Truly, what he does off the ice in his spare time is his right and his business. You want to judge him, go for it, that's your right too. But me, I'd be more concerned about the image my teams players portray on the ice on national TV in front of millions and the image they give the franchise, and there is one team out there who could really use Tiger Tigers advice on how to act like a respectable human being, and I think we all know who that is.........
We all know there is a fine line between having a good time and being an a-hole.
Beating up a cabbie is not a "having a good time." When these stories constantly follow you, its not "having a good time" anymore and its you either being an a-hole or a criminal. Just ask Ben Roethlesberger.
Like I said, being an a-hole is not a crime. But I also am tired of hearing people say "Oh hes just having fun." The things hes done, and been rumored to have done, either have gone too far (cabbie incident) or are showing a pattern of destructive behavior which leads to future incidents like the cabbie incident. I know I never beat up a cabbie in my twenties. I dont think the other 200+ young players in the league have beat up cabbies while out with friends and family. And how many of them are accused of choking women at a party? There is a reason these stories follow certain people.
