Ducks trade Andrew Cogliano to Stars for Devin Shore
The Anaheim Ducks have traded left winger Andrew Cogliano to the Dallas Stars for centre Devin Shore.
Cogliano, 31, appeared in 584 games with the Ducks over eight seasons, scoring 102 goals and 233 points in those games with a plus-61 rating. He added eight goals and 25 points in 64 playoff games.
The Ducks originally acquired Cogliano in a trade with the Edmonton Oilers at the 2013 NHL Draft. Between the Oilers and Ducks, Cogliano posted the fourth-longest iron man streak for consecutive games with 830, from Oct. 4, 2007 to Jan. 13, 2018.
Shore, 24, has scored 29 goals and 82 points in 209 NHL games, all with the Stars. Originally a second-round pick by the Stars in 2012, Shore made his NHL debut in 2015 and has appeared in all 82 Stars games in each of the last two seasons.
