Dang....haven't had an idiot like this in awhile. I'm pretty sure he got his cards.....($50US), but he says he doesn't have them. Simple inside borders of Canada transaction. I get this e-mail from him tonight....

"I have not receiver my lot of cards that I bought from you. I am going to have to file a complaint with eBay and through PayPal to get a refund. Refund my money and I will leave positive feedback saying good service."

What to do.....what to do....

Kev

I agree. Its hard to know that he got them but he doesn't offer to wait or anything, it is all about the ransom. Tough call Kev.

I bought something from the US in early March, I filed a claim on April 11th, low and behold, it arrived yesterday, over a month later. It could be that it's in transit. Depending on how long ago you mailed it, just ask him to wait another 5 business days to see what happens.

Oh yeah....I don't 100%. Just no leeway given at all. Asked for more time because of Canada Post issues because its only been about 2 weeks, but not getting it at all. Just a sudden e-mail, saying he's filing a claim.

Name is Matt Wiseman, username is "revolution deals"

Hm...

Honestly? I think you're being taken for a ride. Don't make it easy for him.

If you've got a post office receipt, maybe give them that number - it'll delay his claim.

Yeah Quinc....that was just my "feeling" too. No understanding at all.....just an abrupt end to the transaction, and the claim and the e-mail. Thanks....I'll try it.

Kev

Scan all the postal information and email it to him. I would still rather take a neg feedback then refund to someone who I know received their cards.

I'll echo the below from Steve..

Hopefully this will work out for you?

Two weeks?!? And he's at this point? /sigh

People need to have more patience!

Myself, I'd be replying to his email with a polite letter saying how I understand his concern, but he still has plenty of time to file the issue and mail can take 3-4 weeks (odd, but true). What I usually do is set a date 10 days out and if they haven't rec'd by then, I happily will initiate a refund. Now that said, what's this buyer's feedback like? Why, for $50 would you not have sent with tracking? Hindsight, I know...

My rule is $40+ and it goes ExpressPost...buyer needs to have a really good case if they don't want to pay that - it's very clear in all my listings.

Hope this works out for you :(

At that point if you've got tracking and he's claiming this - you might want to take this to the post office or suggest that the authorities get involved. If he's adamant he didn't get it, then I'd sic the hounds on him - but that's just me

Turtlelo - nice find

I call his claim BS because he said he will leave positive feedback for you. That there is the giveaway and you can use that to make your case. Also, was the card you sold him with a serial?
